    Rare Ataxite

    I recently bought a Hoba partial slice from SkyFall Meteorites that originally came from the Jim Schwade collection. This was metal, not shale- a very important distinction. Not only was this very old sample curated in quite good condition, but its provenance is well published. That is important for verifying the solid integrity of a meteorite whose importance is its place within the history of our planet and society at large. This sample will no doubt make an excellent example in future educational talks. Thank you Mendy.
