Critical Point

Point along a phase boundary on a phase diagram where the liquid and gas states cease to be distinct. For example, the critical point of water is 647 K (374 °C or 705 °F) and 22.064 MPa (218 atm). These two parameters are called “critical temperature” and “critical pressure”.
